Help answer a question?

So I was thinking the other day... (Yes, you can cringe now.) And my thinking led to some wondering... So I figured I'd put this to my 4 or so regular blog readers (bless your hearts for coming back after so many months of boredom and silence), and see what you thought. Just a random, unscientific survey done here for nothing more than satisfying my curiosity and see if I'm actually as ignorant as I think I am.

So, the first question: Are you a writer?
And the second question: Where did you first hear about e-books? (Or have you not heard of them?)
