Likes and Dislikes

What makes Honey happy: job prospects for when we move in a couple months

What makes Honey unhappy: flying with a head cold to an interview (Pleased to meet you, sir and ma'am. A-choo! Would you like to shake my hand and offer me a job? A-choo!)

Happy: Car upgrades. Mitsubishi Eclipse for a day, anyone? Vroom vroom vroom!

Unhappy: Jack Sparrow Maps. (You know, ones that don't point north, or worse yet, that do point north, but only some of the time.)

Happy: Not getting lost anyway

Unhappy: Being away from Mr. Honey and the kittens

Happy: Coming home to Mr. Honey and the kittens

Unhappy: Airport human traffic (don't congregate in the middle of the aisles, people!) and rush hour car traffic (do you really think the left shoulder of the road was made for you to use in traffic jams while the rest of us sit patiently and wait for you to kick up dirt, rocks, and tire treads onto our non-moving vehicles while you use any horizontal surface available to fly past us and leave us hating you?) making the drive home twice as long as it should be.

Happy: Delta. Love 'em or hate 'em as an airline, I live for the free Biscoff cookies they serve in flight.

Unhappy: Not flying Delta, which is exactly how I flew this week, and thus only being offered pretzels.

Happy: I didn't pay for the ticket

Unhappy: I also didn't ask if they could give me a root beer, which would've been fantastic for the burping on the descent back into the airport, which could very well have cleared my ears when chewing gum and inhaling nasal sprays didn't work

Happy: It's Friday

Happy: It's my last Friday at my current job

Happy: I'm wearing a Life is Good t-shirt under a Hawaiian shirt

Happy: It's a slow day, so I'm also reading a romance novel at work

Happy: It's a 3-day weekend

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
